3 Reasons Why Signing Up for 4G Internet Makes Sense

It can sometimes be hard to sign on the dotted line when it comes to purchasing a new technology, especially if you haven't done any research on the matter. To make things easier, you really need to build a solid case for the purchase. When it comes to 4G internet service, building a case is easy because there are a lot of reasons why signing up makes sense. The following reasons could easily be included among them.

1. It's going to be an upgrade from your previous connection. Unless you've got a high-end cable or DSL solution, you're not going to find a faster connection anywhere else. To see if signing up would be an upgrade for you, head over to speedtest.net and run their online test. They will be able to tell you how fast your connection actually is as opposed to how fast it's advertised to be. For most people with cable or DSL, they're probably going to see get a download rating of around 3 megabits per second. 4G internet on the other hand maxes out at around 6 megabits per second. Theoretically, you could double your download rates by making the switch. Unfortunately, you're probably going to get lower transfer rates in the real world depending on how far away you are from the transmission tower. Despite that, you're still most likely going to get at least 3 megabits per second even when you have a weak signal.

2. Signing up is easy. A complicated sign up procedure can put you off from wanting to sign up for 4G internet. Fortunately, you can sign up online whenever you're ready and it couldn't be easier. There are sites out there dedicated to offering you the best deals possible and they will walk you through the process of making the switch. They'll also provide you with a wealth of information about the connection itself so that signing up will be an easy decision for you to make. Expect that your subscription is going to cost around $1 to $2 per day, which is coincidentally about the same as standard cable and DSL solutions.

3. You're going to get extremely versatile internet usage when you sign up for 4G internet, and wired broadband connectivity options just won't be able to keep up. Just think about what cellular technology did for phones and you'll get an idea of what it can do for internet connections. No longer will you be tied down by the confines of wires. Whenever you want to go somewhere else to browse the internet at broadband speeds, you can. For example, you could take your connection down to the local park and browse the internet while surrounded by fresh air and beautiful scenery. You could also go to your favorite restaurants or coffee shops without worrying about whether they have a Wifi network you can connect to or not. You'll even be able to use the connection from the back of a moving vehicle. This aspect of 4G internet is usually what seals the deal for most prospective customers.
